Update 29.5.09 - Copyright and other issues are casuing delays in the availability of exam practice material. Exercises will (hopefully)now be available from late 2009.

Sounds English currently offers listening practice for three types of English language exam. All the examinations we offer listening practice exercises for are part of the Cambridge ESOL exam suites. We do this because we feel these are the best quality exams on offer for English learners today.

However, if you are studying another english language examination you will still find this type of practice helpful.

PET

Preliminary English Test. This is suitable for learners who have achieved A2 level. ( about a good pre intermediate or low intermediate level)

FCE

First Certificate in English. This is suiable for learners who have achieved B2 level. ( about a good upper intermediate or low advanced level)

CAE

Certificate of Advanced English. This is suiable for learners who have achieved C1 level. ( about a good advanced or low proficient level.)
